Job Description

TechStyle Fashion Group is currently looking for an Associate Designer – Savage X Fenty.

How Do You Fit In?

As the Associate Designer – Savage X Fenty, you will provide
- creative and practical support to the Senior Designer,
o including but not limited to trend/concept research,
o creating/updating line sheets/CADS, and
o inputting information into PLM.
- The Associate Designer – Savage X Fenty will join a team of skilled and
creative individuals navigating a fast-paced, start-up environment. The
ideal candidate will be an efficient self-starter who is passionate about
Savage X Fenty, the lingerie world, and body-inclusivity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in inspiration research
• Collaborate and actively share creative insights with team members
• Assist in preparation for key meetings such as Concept & Sketch Review
• Ensure all meetings are prepared with appropriate line sheets, and
reference materials
• Ownership of line sheet updates
• Create and edit CADS in Illustrator
• Build construction pages and BOMs
• Input and maintain styles in PLM
• Assist with fittings, take note of changes and incorporate updates across
line sheets & PLM.
• Identify trim needs ranging from functional to novelty
• Adhere to time and action calendar
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and assist wherever possible

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design– specialization in Intimates/Lingerie a plus!
• 3+ year industry experience
• Passion for the brand and interest in body-inclusive design
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, working knowledge of PLM systems,
Adobe Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proven knowledge of garment construction
• Sharp attention to detail
• Possess a creative spirit, and effectively express your ideas
• Must be proactive and naturally inclined to problem-solve
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
• Ability to multi-task and adjust workload as a result of shifting priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships among team members, management and cross-functional teams
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
